Picking Raspberries

We went to a local farm yesterday and picked raspberries! I think the kids ate more than we brought home ;)! We also picked carrots. C learned that "orange shoulders about the size of a nickel" have to be showing in order to pick the carrot. He was the only kiddo who caught on to that (I wouldn't expect any less, as I have said he is quite passionate about everything he does). Little G stayed on my hip most of the time and munched plenty of raspberries as well. N picked a few things and was mostly content playing in the mud (he has to be the sweetest boy ever!). My niece L joined us and giggled and giggled and giggled as she usually does when she is with my boys.

The lovely F family was with us as well. Their presence always brings joy, God has truly blessed us by placing these wonderful friends in our lives.

Daddy had to work but we talked his ear off about the day when he came home! And we shared the fruits of our labor with him.

One last thing....C brought his bow and arrow and was sure he was going to bring home some fresh turkey for dinner (we had heard there were turkeys roaming around). Fortunately they were pinned up. Yes I said fortunately and I mean fortunately for Christian who has no idea just how mean turkeys really are. :)
