And then he was 6....

After two days of festivities my now six-year-old is tucked warm and safe into his bed. How have 6 years passed so quickly? At this time, 6 years ago, I held my first newborn in my arms and wondered just what would become of him. Little did I know he would be intelligent, funny, chatty, warm and still so nice to snuggle with! When we took him out this afternoon he took his blanket with him and looked around with awe and wonder, just as he has done each and every day I have known him. If only I could tell him just how much he means to me!
This is how we spent the last two days....

Home made, T-Rex head, carrot cake.
Party buckets for his guests. The best part was the whoopee cushion inside, good for MANY laughs!

Little sister ready for some fun.

Making a wish and blowing out his candles!

Waking up to a table decorated just for him on his special day!

Time for bowling! Noah patiently waits for his turn.

The birthday boy getting ready to knock-em-over!

Noah would run full speed up to the lane and throw the ball, so funny!

"Throw it like a suitcase," says Dad.

Time for dinner at Red Lobster, birthday boy's choice!
Gianna loved holding the empty lobster shell.
Noah's turn with the lobster shell. He wouldn't dare try a bite!

Christian and his birthday lobster, he gobbled it up and loved every bite!

A handsome daddy and our beautiful children.

The hostess let us "pet" a live lobster! We all touched and enjoyed. Christian is shaking the lobster's "hand" here. Nice to meet you before I eat you!
