She has been climbing in and out of her crib a lot this past week (even with the mattress on the lowest setting). SO, we decided she would be safest in her toddler bed. It saddens and excites me at the same time. Sad to take down the crib once again, sad the leave behind one more baby thing about this little girl who is growing much too quickly! Excited for her small piece of new found independence and her reaction when she saw her bed for the first time. She climbed in and said "my bed," then proceeded to giggle and jump on the bed (she sure is mine!).
The best part....she stayed in bed all night! I still had to rescue her pacifier a few times but that's okay, gave me a reason to stand over her and watch her angelic sleep!
P.S. The picture above makes it look like she goes to bed with a bottle, NO. She just happened to drink her bottle in bed while her brothers did their bed time hygiene. This is one of the few parenting rules I have always followed (the only milk they've received in bed has been during nursing).
